Comic Corner

As many of you are aware, this Friday, July 20th is the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises. For die-hard Batman fans as well as the recently inducted, this is not a movie you can miss.

After you've suited up in your best Bat-attire and you're standing in line for the midnight screening, you can read up on the origins of Bane in the Knightfall storyline's "The Man Who Broke the Bat."

If you're more of a Catwoman kind of person, I recommend any of the issues drawn by Adam Hughes, such as the issues follwing One Year Later.

If you're more of a hands on person and your true love lies with the video games Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, I recommend reading the No Man's Land storyline.

And now: FUN FACTS!

Five actors have played Batman in live action productions. In no particular order they are: Adam West, Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton, George Clooney, and Christian Bale

Before Warner Bros. decided to do the Dark Knight trilogy, they were considering a live action adaptation of the cartoon Batman Beyond with Keanu Reeves as the main protagonist.

Gotham City is in New Jersey.

Okay, I threw this in here because I almost died when I heard it. The important stuff starts at about 0:40.
